Look Like a Tourist in Venice

A framed painting of a young boy’s obvious wonderment-feeding the pigeons in the infamous landmark square in Venice. 

The unabridged edition of this view would show the plaza swarming with the next bride and groom and wedding party, plus the everyday mass of tourists and locals. 

On a subsequent visit to St. Marks Square we witnessed temporary but frequently raised lumber pathways erected in the square due to the common flooding of the plaza.  Sadly, the lower levels of the Venice's palatial treasures are all experiencing the rising threat of sea waters throughout Venice.  Those who have not seen the area in person need to do so as the entire island is perpetually in danger of being lost.
